Pineapple Pepsi: A Refreshing Summer Twist at Little Caesars

Many pizza fans like pineapple on their pizza. Now, Little Caesars is challenging our taste buds by teaming up with Pepsi to offer a pineapple-flavored Pepsi for a limited time. This fruity soda might be just what you need to cool down during the hot summer months.

The Return of Pineapple Pepsi

Pepsi first introduced its pineapple flavor in 2020, and now, Little Caesars has brought it back just for this summer. Although not all Pepsi flavors have been successful, the pineapple Pepsi was popular before, especially with pizza lovers. Little Caesars and Pepsi have teamed up again to bring us this exciting flavor, now available in 20-ounce bottles.

I tried this special drink and found it really refreshing. It goes great with pizza! Keep reading to find out more about this tasty drink.

Where to Find Pineapple Pepsi

The only place you can find this new pineapple Pepsi is at Little Caesars restaurants. Luckily, every state in the U.S. has at least one Little Caesars location. If you live in a state with only one location, like Alaska, you might have to drive a bit to get this tropical drink. But, you can grab some pizza and Crazy Puffs at Little Caesars to enjoy on your way back home.

Pineapple Pepsi became available on July 1 and is expected to be sold throughout the summer, as long as supplies last. It was popular the first time, so it’s a good idea to get a bottle early. There’s also a special deal early in the product’s launch that makes it even more tempting to visit Little Caars right away.

Special Deals on Pineapple Pepsi

If you go to Little Caesars during the first two weeks after the pineapple Pepsi is released, you can get a great deal. By using the code “PINEAPPLE” at checkout, you get a 20-ounce bottle of the pineapple Pepsi and an order of Crazy Puffs for $4.99, which saves you almost $2. You can easily get this deal through the Little Caesars app.

If you’re only interested in the soda, you can buy the pineapple Pepsi separately for $2.69, which is the same price as other 20-ounce bottled sodas at Little Caesars. After July 14, the price for the pineapple Pepsi and Crazy Puffs combo will be $5.68 plus tax. Prices and availability might vary by location.

Pairing Pineapple Pepsi

The pineapple Pepsi pairs nicely with Crazy Puffs. The cheese and sauce in the Crazy Puffs create a savory taste that goes well with the sweet soda. If you like Hawaiian pizza, you might enjoy the pineapple Pepsi with pepperoni Crazy Puffs, as the flavors are similar. You could also try a Hawaiian pizza or a pizza with pineapple topping to go all-in with the pineapple theme.

What’s in Pineapple Pepsi?

Don’t be fooled by the pineapple name; this is still a sugary soda. It has 69 grams of sugar per bottle, the same as regular Pepsi. The sugars come from high fructose corn syrup, sugar, and pineapple juice concentrate. Pineapple Pepsi also has just 1% juice, but you can really taste the pineapple in it.

The appearance of pineapple Pepsi is slightly different from regular Pepsi. The can has the Pepsi logo with pineapple images around it, and the Little Caasars mascot is also there. Other than these changes, the main difference is the pineapple flavor, which makes it taste distinct from regular Pepsi.

Tasting Pineapple Pepsi

When you open a bottle of pineapple Pepsi, you can smell the pineapple right away. It smells like cutting into a fresh pineapple, reminding me of summer. The drink tastes a lot like pineapple, maybe even more than it tastes like Pepsi. It has the same sticky texture as Pepsi, but the pineapple flavor stays with you.

I bought a combo deal from a busy Little Caesars location to test the pineapple Pepsi. I drank some water first to clear my palate and then tried the pineapple Pepsi. I also compared it with a plain Pepsi and Crazy Puffs. The difference in taste was clear, showing how unique the pineapple flavor is in this soda.
